The Accurate Boss Valiant 600 Reels are designed for heavy inshore and offshore applications with an added BVL-600 and BVL-600W light line series geared towards tackling white marlin, sailfish, king mackerel, and other lightning fast game fish. These reels are made with innovative design that minimizes size and weight Whilst maximizing strength, longevity and fish fighting power. The unique curvature of the Accurate BV’s rugged body gives this compact, extremely lightweight reel the structural integrity of models twice its size. Basing the Accurate BV’s design on the original premise of the Roman Arches or Domes used in early architecture, Accurate has been ready to create a significantly stronger reel the usage of less material. Whilst the Accurate BV’s walls are thinner, its non-flexing frame and side plate enable it to resist more stress than in a similar fashion sized reels. Accurate has also managed to fit the drive train of a larger reel perfectly into the Accurate BV’s small profile. Instead of having buttons at free spool and strike, these reels have a protected indent in the Drag Cam that stops the drag lever before going into full. This useful feature offers a fail-secure all through the heat of battle, preventing the angler from going too far into full drag.
